When should I see a hand surgeon?

Finger symptoms:

bullet

Any finger that is painful and swollen and appears crooked or bent.

bullet

Any finger which maintains swelling, pain, numbness, bruising (in the skin or under the fingernail), deformity.

bullet

Pain and locking of the finger when it is moved.

 

Shoulder symptoms:

bullet

Intermittent or sharp pain in the shoulder

bullet

Dull, Aching Pain in shoulder accompanied with fatigue.

bullet

Shoulder weakness, shoulder tenderness, loss of shoulder movement

 

Hand symptoms:

bullet

Pain associated with gripping or squeezing motion of the hand.
